The AME Torqupedo is designed to accelerate exhaust gases while maintaining enough exhaust pressure needed for the engines low end torque.
As you all may have encountered that after you install a straight pipe exhaust to your car, you tend to loose a lot of low end torque resulting high fuel consumption and exhaust drones at the lower rev ranges. This is all due to lack of exhaust pressure. Note that the reason resulting exhaust droning is due to the lack of torque!

AME Torqupedo's design includes an anti-reversion chamber so that exhaust pulses cannot bounce back to the turbo to prevent it from slowing down, and on naturally aspirated engines, it prevents the pulses bouncing back to the engine valves which could cause the valves to not be able to close properly resulting loss of power and in the long term, damage to valve springs.
The bloated round design of the Torqupedo is the expansion chamber combined with a Laval nozzle (calculated to completely match your engine volume and horsepower) will provide the exhuast pressure needed to maintain engine torque and through the scavenging effect that these two designs combined, vastly speeds up your exhaust gasses and heat out of the system.
